It seems I have to submit one page as a deviation, and I'm going for July - it's a sepia version of something you've seen before, my 'Lady of the Lake' drawing ... based on the very lovely
OK, fingers crossed I can complete this submission process
Update - looking promising. If you click on the print bit, you see the cover. And clicking on 'add to cart' allows you to view the pages (with no obligation to buy). Guess what my family might be getting for Christmas?
If the category section says anime/manga don't blame me. I didn't put it there.
Thanks, Steve. I went back and edited the view to enable a bigger view. I've had this sepia version set as my desktop image for some while. It's funny to see it without all the icons
Thank you. I forgot to give credit for the textile design (I did in the original deviation). It's based on 'Oak', a design by William Morris. I have a small sample of the design in a book. Morris originally designed it for curtains and furnishings in what was once the Blue Room in St James Palace. It must have looked stunning. In drawing this dress, I had to imagine how the pattern would lie in folds of fabric. I think it would make a great dress if such fabric were available now.
Thank you. I hope it will work as a calendar. I'm seriously thinking of making Christmas shopping easy this year ... Carole the cheapskate Darn! Why did I put 2008 on it? I could have given the same gift all over again next year
I'd like to show you some awesome nature related work from more or less unknown artists which deserve more attention - this is a must see, you won't regret it!!!
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
I'm a lover of visual impacts. I like brilliant colors and shapes. And I decided to collect a whole stack of deviations that reflect that taste. These pieces showcased below deserve every bit of publicity you can give them. x)P
